Edwin and Linda McCullers passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Ga.

The private funeral services will be held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the services for Edwin and Linda will be private. Their families want to express their deep appreciation for everything family and friends have done to help during this time and encourage everyone to be careful, stay safe, and wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.

Edwin Marvin McCullers was born September 11, 1954, in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Catherine and Marvin McCullers. He attended Bainbridge High School. He was Methodist by faith. Edwin was very well known around town for owning Southern Trading Company and later, Flint River Outfitters.

Survivors include his sisters, Elizabeth Stewart (Farley), Judy Carlisle (David), and Gloria Davis (Jerry); and nieces and nephews, Cathy Wiggins (Carl), Susan Stewart, Jay Gleaton (Carole), Jeff Gleaton (Keri), Becky Guest (Bruce), and Mary Ann Parsons (Mike).

Edwin was preceded in death by both his parents and his niece, Summer Gleaton.

Linda McCullers was born January 17, 1963, in Marianna, Florida, the daughter of Flake and Yvonne Green. She was a graduate of Bainbridge Christian School, class of 1981. Linda was Methodist by faith. She was well known around town for her work and ownership of Hair Shapers. Previously she had worked at Town and Country.

Survivors include her parents; sisters, Ann Waters (Dwain), Charlene Neely (Keith), and (twin) Lisa Smith; nieces and nephews, Crystal Waters-Johnson, Allison Hioki, Amanda Neely, Ty Smith, and Ryals Smith; and several great nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin.
