Eileen Patricia Davis, age 71, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, Georgia. A service will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery. The time and date to be announce later.

Eileen was born March 29, 1950, in Sheffield, England. Her parents, John Curtis Davis and Maureen Constance Steele Davis, have preceded her in death. Eileen held dual citizenship, English and American. She attended Valdosta Technical School and worked many years at Belk in cosmetic sales. She married Gerry Lane Davis, who died September 5, 2017. Eileen was always ready to help, anyone, anyhow. She dearly loved animals and would rescue any she found in need of care. Eileen deeply loved her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Her beautiful smile and presence will be missed.

Eileen Davis is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Patti) Ryna Kelso and husband, Brian of Spanish Fort, Alabama; son, John Earl Griffin of Valdosta, Georgia; and grandchildren, Cameron Hornbuckle of Valdosta, Georgia, and Bradley Kelso of Spanish Fort; sisters, Carole Davis and Susan Davis, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and son, Edward Jefferson Griffin, III.
