Hank Windle Tyler, age 78, of Iron City, Ga., passed away Monday afternoon, July 5, 2021, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Tyler will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Iron City Baptist Church, with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Troy Hall, Colton Hall, Conner Bradley, Thomas Smith, and Bobby Adrahtas serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Laney Williams, Dallas Waddell and Charles Hood. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church.

Mr. Tyler was born in Seminole County, Ga., on August 19, 1942, to Byron Bruner Tyler and Dixie Easom Tyler. Mr. Tyler served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked for the State of Georgia. He was always ready to GO! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to see bluegrass bands, and spending time in the mountains. He loved to sing and would sing with anyone.

Mr. Tyler is survived by his wife, Eathell Nix Tyler of Iron City, Ga.; his children, Windle Shawn Tyler (Joni) of Columbus, N.C., Stacy Tyler Hall (Troy) of Hendersonville, N.C., Shari Tyler Smith (Thomas) of Ocala, Fla., Jan Howington (Bill) of Sebastian, Fla., Gail Bush of Colquitt, Ga., Becky Wildes of Iron City, Ga., and Kelley Adrahtas (Bobby) of Sebastian, Fla. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Price Tyler, James Tyler, and Johnny Tyler; two sisters, Lucille Wadell and Vonnie De Jesus; and a grandson, Bryan Boots.
