Remus W. Kelly, 77, Bainbridge, Georgia native, passed away on February 19, 2021.

Remus is predeceased by his wife, Janice, whom he affectionately referred to as “Sweetie”.  He is survived by his son Chris “Sonny” and his children; his two daughters, Christy, her husband and children, Colleen and her husband, as well as two step-children; Natalie along with her husband and children and Vince.  He is also survived by his loving sister Betty Godwin; niece (Marcilla); nephew (Eddie), and several cousins.

Remus was an Army veteran.  He spent his career life working with telephone and trucking companies.  During the latter part of his working career, he worked for a local trucking company.  He loved driving out west and seeing the beautiful landscape and open skies.  He also loved vacationing at Mexico Beach where he and Janice had enjoyed special times together.  The families of Remus and Janice are having a private gathering to honor the wishes of spreading their ashes in the ocean.
