Melinda Gail Toliver was born November 7, 1963, in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Jack and Evelyn Brock Toliver. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School. Melinda married Frank Santucci in 2006 and they made their home at Lake Seminole. She worked for American Peanut Growers Group and was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.

Melinda was like the Energizer bunny; she never slowed down. There was always something to do somewhere between work and fishing. She loved all animals and was amazed at how they loved unconditionally. Melinda had a strong faith and was tough as nails. Her humble spirit led her to put others before herself. Family was the foundation on which she built her life, and Melinda taught her children “blood is thicker than water”.

Survivors include her husband of almost 15 years, Frank Santucci; her children, Jack & Katie Bass of Columbus, Ga., Melinda Busby of Climax, Ga., Cecil Jr. & Stephanie Griner of Brinson, Ga., April & Philip Hatcher of Marietta, Ga., Willard Wimberly and Jean Wimberly, both of Bainbridge; her parents, Jack & Evelyn Toliver; her siblings, Sonja Fowler of Lake Seminole, Jack Jr. & Sarah Toliver of Bainbridge, and Melissa & Drew Fucich of Waverland, Miss.; her fourteen grandchildren, two of whom she helped raise, Shawn & Flint Wimberly; and her two great-grandchildren.
