Gordon Randall Williams was born September 27, 1941 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Ennis and Arie Anna Faircloth Williams. He married Janell Pate in 1986 and they continued to make their home in Bainbridge. Randall was a truck driver for Flint River Mills and retired from Southwest Georgia Oil. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Hardee’s Coffee Club.

Randall never met a stranger. Three things that drew people to him: he was always laughing, always in a good mood and always had candy in his pocket to share. Randall enjoyed fishing almost as much as the fish fry that followed. He loved people and getting to know their stories. His family always came first and he lived his life as an example of unconditional love.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Janell Pate Williams; his children, Randy Williams and his wife, Erin, of Colquitt, Ga., Tina Kendrick of Pelham, Ga., Patricia Cook McLendon and her husband, Kenneth, of Vada, Ga., and Bobby Cook and his wife, Terri, of Crawfordville, Fla.; his sister, Ann Hester and her husband, Bubba, of Climax, Ga.; his eleven grandchildren and his twelve great-grandchildren. Randall was preceded in death by his parents.
