Louise F. Dean

Louise F. Dean, age 87, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Donalsonville, Georgia.  Services will be held graveside at Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity Church Road, Bainbridge, Georgia, 2 p.m., November 24, 2020.  Dr. Calvin Arnold and the Rev. Conrad Salter will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the cemetery, beginning at 1 p.m.

Louise Franklin Dean was born December 23, 1932 in Miller County, Georgia.  Her parents, Johnny D. Franklin and Edna Thompson Franklin, have preceded her in death.  She married Tillman Dean.  She was a faithful wife and friend to Tillman for 29 years, before he passed away.

Louise Franklin Dean is survived by her children, Debra O’Hearn Sharpe of Statesboro, Georgia, Dennis O’Hearn (Debbie) of Donalsonville, Georgia, Steve Dean (Terri) of Brinson, Georgia, and Susan D. Hand of Bainbridge, Georgia; siblings, Lonnie Franklin (Judy) of Bristol, Florida and sister, Jenell F. Kelley (Max) of Donalsonville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Sharpe of Statesboro, Andrea S. Deal (Clark) of Statesboro, Neil Moulton (Elizabeth) of Donalsonville, Haley O’Hearn (Alex Mercer) of Donalsonville, Dean Brady (Rene) of Dallas, Texas, Amy Seubert of Alpharetta, Georgia, Todd Hand (Hannah) of Bainbridge, Donnie Dean (Aimee) of Athens, Georgia, Len Dean (Heather) of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Abbi Bush (Jake) of Whigham, Georgia; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;  and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, William Franklin, Hugh Franklin, Sr., Cecil Franklin, J. D. Franklin, and Gene Franklin; and son-in-law, Andy Sharpe.
