Stewart Dewayne Reynolds was born June 29, 1960 in Donalsonville, Ga, the son of Ralph Reynolds and Grace Emmanuel Reynolds. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1978. Stewart married Brenda Smith in 1979 and they made their home in Bainbridge. He worked with Sarah Lee for over 20 years then spent several years as “The Little Debbie Man”. Stewart was Baptist by faith.

Some guys are just considered “good ol’ boys” who loved hunting and fishing. Stewart Reynolds was one of those guys. He was the friend everyone wanted. He always put others first and would drop what he was doing to help someone. (And it didn’t really matter who they were or what they needed.) Stewart was a confidant and meant it when he said he would never tell the real story about the “big one that got away”. Stewart loved life and living it with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Brenda Reynolds; his sons and their wives, Lance & Mandy Reynolds and Brad & Tonya Reynolds, all of Bainbridge; his mother, Grace Davidson; his siblings, Sheila Reynolds of Columbus, Ga and Gerald & Teresa Reynolds of Albany, Ga; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Hayden, Colby, and Kaitlyn. Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Reynolds.

The Reynolds Family requests you wear your fishing jersey or favorite fishing shirt in honor of Stewart and his belief the best days were when you were fishing.
