Linda Joyce Johnson was born May 28, 1951 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Jake and Effie Hooks Johnson. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School. Linda retired from Birdsong Peanuts as a quality control operator and was a member of Mother’s Home Freewill Baptist Church.

Known affectionately as “BoBo” to the younger kids, Linda shared with them the importance of family. She was a homebody, but always wanted her people around. Linda loved a family gathering and really didn’t need a particular reason to gather. She was considered the family “life coach” serving as the cheerleader and the confidant. Linda’s life could be summed up in two words, “She loved.”

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Chris Cobb; and her brother, Larry Johnson.
