Maurice Kevin “Chappy” Chapman

Mr. Maurice Kevin “Chappy” Chapman, 55, of Colquitt, Ga., died on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his residence.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Sheffield Chapel with Rev. Steve Poppel officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Free Will Baptist Cemetery with Tony Chapman, Jermone Shelly, Tony Givens, Ricky Robinson, Michael Meredith, and Daryl Kermmode serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mr. Chapman was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Chapman of Colquitt; son, Kebo (Maryanna) Chapman of Bainbridge; daughter, Jenaye Chapman of San Antonio, Texas; step-daughter, Amanda Glass of Colquitt;  two grandchildren, Jayden Adams and Zaya Glass; one brother, Chester Chapman of Colquitt; three sisters, Linda Gail Chapman of Colquitt, Loretta (Andy) Alday of Donalsonville, Ga., and Barbara (Tony) Meredith of Colquitt.

Mr. Chapman was preceded in death by his parents; Maurice and Sula Chapman; and one brother, Gerry Chapman.
