Ms. Joann Teems, age 70, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, Georgia. A private, family service will be held at a later date.

Joann Teems was born September 16, 1949 in Cedar Town, Georgia to parents, William Wesley Teems and Mattie Irene Allen Teems.  She spent most of her life in Cairo, Georgia. Joann loved anything and everything Elvis Presley. She also loved county music and her family. Joann will be greatly missed.

Joann Teems is survived by her sister, Cathy Groves; brother, Eddie Teems and wife, Nina; a host of nieces and nephews; and a great-great niece, Kalani Bell.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Howard and Gary Teems; and twin sisters, Brenda Sadler and Glinda Sadler.
