Kathy Diane Glover Harris, 68, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kathy Diane Glover was born August 22, 1951 in Bainbridge, Ga., the daughter of Roy and Jeanne Cowart Glover. She was a graduate of Early County High School. Kathy earned her LPN and practiced for years in Southwest Georgia. She also worked at Country Store and Grocery Outlet. She was a devout Christian.

Kathy was a caregiver at heart. She spent many days at Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge State Hospital, Miller County Nursing Home, and in private homes providing tender care for the patients she loved dearly. Kathy was head strong and determined. Her love for family was unwavering. She raised three boys by herself, cheering them on at swim team events and supervising their scouting activities as Den Mother. Later she enjoyed some of those same activities with her grandchildren. Kathy loved hard and had a strong faith. She instilled in her boys the importance of being there for each other no matter what. One of her favorite pastimes with her boys and her grandchildren was fishing. Kathy always seemed to have a big one on the line adding to the excitement.

Survivors include her children, Sean Devon Harris, Cale Harris & Tina Huff, and Erik Johnson & April Thomas, all of Bainbridge; her siblings, Ricky & Jan Glover of LaGrange, Ga. and Debbie Riddle of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Calee, Jesse, Zachary, Christian, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Ryleigh, and Brayden; her great-grandchildren, Miriah, Hayden, Jacob and Emie; several nieces & nephews; her loyal pets, Skeeter & Skeagan; and her devoted friends, Patricia Garcia and Faye Sapp. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Glover and Wade Glover.
