Jeffery “Buddy” Wimberly was born February 14, 1957 in Bainbridge, Ga., the son of Lawson Wimberly and Louise Rivers Wimberly.  Buddy was an all-around outgoing person and never met a stranger. He could talk the day away with anyone and everyone.  Buddy lived life to the fullest with a smile on his face and never, ever had a bad day.  He worked for The City of Bainbridge as a Street Superintendent for many years and absolutely enjoyed his job.  Buddy’s family meant the world to him. He married Dorothy on October 26, 1985 and they spent 34 wonderful years together.  He spent all the time he could with his son, his grandchildren, and his “furry” children.  If anyone knew Buddy, they know that he loved fast cars.  From tinkering around on an old hot rod to burnin’ rubber in a drag race, he was in heaven.
