Ms. Lynda Jo Barber, 69, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at Donalsonville Hospital, Donalsonville, Georgia.  A private graveside service will be held at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville.  The Rev. Calvin Arnold will officiate.

Lynda Jo Barber was born April 19, 1951 in Donalsonville.  Her parents, Marshall Moulton and Annette Hill Moulton, have preceded her in death.  Lynda was a hard worker.  She worked in the lunchroom of Jones Wheat Elementary School in Bainbridge and later at the Seminole-Decatur Training Center.  Lynda enjoyed her job and loved those that worked on her Training Center crew.  She enjoyed working in her yard and keeping it just right.  She entertained herself, keeping up with everyone on Facebook and playing games on her phone or computer.  Lynda loved to go fishing.  Living on Spring Creek, she loved to sit and watch the water.  She loved lighthouses and enjoyed any gifts or mementos she received lighthouse related.  Lynda Jo Barber will be deeply missed by the family she loved so much and her many friends.

Lynda is survived by her sons, B. J. VanHousen and wife, Danielle of Sasser, Georgia and Michael Barber and wife, Amy of Brinson, Georgia; brother, Glenn Moulton; grandchildren, Spencer, Preston, and Sarah; and her faithful companion, Hydro.
