In response to the economic challenges presented by the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, as well as the change in recent years as to how its readers consume community news and information, The Post-Searchlight will begin publishing one print edition each week on Wednesdays.

Starting with this edition, readers will now be able to pick up a print copy of The Post-Searchlight on Wednesdays. Digital E-editions of The Post-Searchlight will continue to be available for subscribers on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and thepostsearchlight.com will remain your source for all news and updates.

“As COVID-19 novel coronavirus continues to impact this community and southwest Georgia, we will continue to provide our readers with the news and information they need and we look forward to a time when we can publish stories about people you may know in our community in ‘normal’ times,” said Post-Searchlight Publisher Mark Pope.

The digital E-edition is available to all subscribers. If you are a subscriber who has not registered to view the E-edition online, or you are not a subscriber but would like to view future Saturday E-editions, please call (229) 246-2827. Subscribers will receive their printed Wednesday edition in their mailboxes and will receive their Saturday E-edition in their email inbox.

Subscription cost will remain the same, E-edition only subscriptions are available at a discounted rate.

“No matter the medium or print publication frequency, informing our readers continues to be our top priority,” said Post-Searchlight Managing Editor Powell Cobb.
