BPS looks for armed robbery suspects

Quick Buys was the victim of an armed robbery on Tuesday, February 25, after two men entered the store with a handgun demanding money.

Quick Buys employee, Dipaliben Patel told officers she was at the register when two black males wearing black t-shirts entered the store and pointed a gun to her head, demanding money out of the register and safe.

Dipaliben informed officers she gave them all of the money before the males left. Employee, Kaushikkumar Patel saw the males get into a red car, before heading south on Faceville Highway. Bainbridge Public Safety canvassed the area for the vehicle and informed Decatur County Sheriff’s Office to be on the lookout, but were unsuccessful locating the vehicle.

The case is still active and has been turned over to BPS Investigator Mark Esquivel. Esquivel urges anyone who may have any information on this incident to contact him.
