Joyce Wade, age 75, of Donalsonville, Ga. passed away Saturday morning, January 25, 2020 at Bainbridge Memorial Manor.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Laddie DeRocco and Rev. Ken Baggett officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2 p.m..  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salem Seminole Baptist Church Youth Fund.

Mrs. Wade was born on February 21, 1944 in Columbus, Ga. to Delma Johnson and Annie Ruth Wade Johnson. Mrs. Wade was a seamstress and was a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville.

Mrs. Wade is survived by her daughters, Glenda Ann McCalvin of Tallahassee, Fla. and Brenda Ann Johnson (Randy) of Brinson, Ga.; her sisters, Mary Vuckouich of Phoenix City, Ala., Brenda Lois Stinson of Cartersville, Ga.; her grandchildren, Rebecca McCalvin, Courtney McCalvin and Elizabeth Payne; her great-grandchildren, Jacoby McCalvin, Ezra Squires, Xavier Squires, Regina Payne, Eli Payne, and Dakota Payne. She is also survived by special family friends, Tammy Kaye White (Mark) of Bainbridge, and their children, Megan Ramer (Jay) of Brazelton, Ga., Chad White (Sarah) of Winterville, Ga.; and Megan and Jay’s daughter, Ava Ryleigh Ramer.

Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Issac Wade; her sister, Jean Burke; a son-in-law, Billy McCalvin; and a close friend, Julian Mullis.

 

Arrangements are entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
