Jayceon Wooten entered the world at 9:32 p.m. on January 1, 2020 and claimed the title of the Memorial Hospital New Year’s Baby. The child, weighing 6 pounds 1 ounce, was born to Alesia Wooten and delivered by Dr. Wayne Friedman.

Little Jayceon has a five-year-old brother Kayden, who is very excited to have his mother bring his baby brother home. The mother and baby received a large gift basket filled with many necessities, thus reviving a custom that had fallen by the wayside over the years.
