Bobby Jackson Morris, 82, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home.  Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Bobby was born May 8, 1937 in Mitchell County, Ga., the son of Barney and Ora Lee Keaton Morris.  After graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School, he joined the Air Force where he served as a Radar Technician.  Upon discharge, he retired after a lengthy career working throughout the southeast as a Pipefitter in the Local 72 Union.

From tinkering with small engines and throwing together various contraptions to gardening, he was a “jack of all trades”.  Bobby enjoyed fishing and yard work. He loved reminiscing with friends and family and if you had an ailment, he jokingly always had one worse.

Survivors include his children, Jeffery Morris (Carolyn), of Hutchinson, Kansas., Wade Morris (Diane), of Hoisington, Kansas, Chandra Morris of Marion, Kansas., and Derek Morris (Phyllis), of Wichita, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Jesse Morris (Annika), Emilee Wilke (Julie), Tyler Morris (Shanley), Michael Morris, Anna Deal, Evann Deal, Chelsi Holinde (Chris), Shayla Cook (Kody), Caitlyn Meitner (Cory), Hunter Morris, Jared Rosenburger, Kelton Morris, and Kendra Morris; 12 great-grandchildren; and his brothers, Milton Morris (Nancy) of Americus, Ga., and Billy Wayne Morris of Mulberry, Fla.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Benny Morris, Larry Morris, and Crawford Morris; and a grandson, Bryce Morris.
