Linda Sherrer, 72, of Bainbridge, Ga., passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating.  Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Michael Garrett, Brian Rogers, Kevin Rogers, Vernon McKnight, Charles Hart and Wayne Boyett serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 10 to 10:45 a.m., on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Linda Sue Humphrey was born February 15, 1947, in Bainbridge, the daughter of John and Esther Knight Humphrey. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, Class of 1965. Many will remember Linda from her time spent in the Wal-Mart Bakery. She was Baptist by faith.

Family always came first in Linda’s book. Her favorite memories were times she spent with her son and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, watching movies and planting flowers. Linda loved to shop, especially if there was a road trip involved. Traveling was a favorite pastime and her friends joked her bag was always packed.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Norman Sherrer; her son, Chris Miller and his wife, Terri, of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; her sister, Judy Rogers and her husband, Nick, of LeCanto, Fla.; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Emily and Trey. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
