Runners ages 12 and under can enjoy a one-mile run or walk through the Lights Along the River at the Earle May Boat Basin. The cost is $8, however race shirts complete with the Jingle Bell Jog logo can be purchased for an additional $15. Racers are also encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift that can be donated to the West Haven, which is a local non- profit organization that assists in the needs of foster care and will use the toys to make a foster child’s Christmas a little brighter.

The one mile run will have four age categories: 6 and under, ages 7-8, ages 9-10 and ages 11-12. Kids ages 6 and under can have a parent run with them, but the parent cannot carry them.
