Bainbridge Public Safety Director Jerry Carter and Sergeant David Cutchin stand with Ronnie Burke, Coordinator of Georgia County Family Connection Region 10, inside of the new Kids ‘n Kops Concession Trailer.

The trailer is outfitted with a concession window and large door which allow easy access to food service items including a brand new popcorn popper, cotton candy machine, and sno-cone maker. The colorful logo graphics were donated and installed by Lee Merchant of LM Installation.

The trailer will be used at a variety of Kids ‘n Kops events including movie nights and the annual Family Fun Day, but the citizens of Bainbridge won’t have to wait long to see it.

The new trailer and the big purple Kids ‘n Kops bus will be part of the Annual City of Bainbridge Christmas Parade on Thursday night.

The Bainbridge Public Safety Kids ‘n Kops program is a non-profit entity run entirely on donations. The goal of the program is to hold events throughout the year which allow police officers an opportunity to interact with children and encourage trustworthiness between them.

A huge supporter of the Kids ‘n Kops program since its inception in 2015 is the Family Connection Collaborative, a group of community partners who develop and implement plans that address challenges facing local children and their families.
