Robin Edward Brown, age 72, of Donalsonville, Ga., passed away Thursday evening, October 24, 2019 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Ala.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown were held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Carnes officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Philmore Higginbotham, Trent Harrison, Donald Wimberly, Arthur Glass, Troy Prescott, and Billy Fain serving as active casketbearers. Visitation was held on Saturday evening, October 26, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown was born in Donalsonville on October 17, 1947 to Foy and Eloise Faircloth Brown. He was a painter and enjoyed fishing and hunting, as well as spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Brown was a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brown of Donalsonville; his children, Daniel Brown (Tina) of Boulder, Colorado, Liz Croom (Kenneth) of Donalsonville, Patrick Creel of Donalsonville, Bridgett Wimberly (Donald) of Ashburn, Ga., and Kimberly Creel of Bainbridge, Ga.; two brothers, Dale Brown (Jimmie Lee) and Steve Brown (Doris) both of Columbus, Ga.; and one sister, Nancy Barbree (Hilton) of Bainbridge. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Foy and Eloise Brown and one brother, Wesley Brown.
