Daisy Janette Holley was born December 28, 1946 in Bainbridge, the daughter of John and Blonnie Clay Holley.  Daisy was a life-time member of First Baptist Church of Bainbridge.  She enjoyed spending time on the road, traveling, seeing the world through her eyes.  Her favorite part about traveling was getting to breathe in the cool mountain air as often as she could.  Daisy loved the outdoors immensely. As often as possible, she tried to drown a worm or two, reeling in that big catfish to eat for dinner.  Believe it or not though, you could still catch Daisy shopping all the sales at Belk during the holidays.

One thing always stood out when it comes to Daisy, and that was William.  Daisy and William were high school sweethearts, and they spent nearly 55 years of their life showing their love for one another.  Whenever you would see William, you better believe that Daisy wasn’t far behind him.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, William Haire; her daughters, Lia Dixon and Amy Anderson, and her husband, Dusty, all of Bainbridge; her brother, Leslie Holley of Crawfordville; her grandchildren, Alana, Will, PT, Bailey, Briana, and Colby; and her great-grandson, Wyatt.  In addition to her parents, Daisy was preceded in death by her siblings, Dave Holley, Arlie Clay, Buster Holley, and Louise Wimberly.
