Donald Ernest Vulgamore was born May 11, 1939 in Jackson, Ohio, the son of Stacy and Earnestine Chick Vulgamore.  After graduating high school, Donald proudly served his country in the US Army.  He went on to make a career as a construction superintendent for over 25 years.  Donald’s ability to pay close attention to detail landed him big projects to inspect like the U.S. Courthouse, Doak Campbell Stadium and The Florida Lottery.

When Donald wasn’t on the jobsite, he was busy handling all the yard work and he absolutely loved to mow the grass.  He was the master of tinkering on stuff around the house that needed to be fixed. When Donald finally sat down for a minute or two, he was either at his favorite fishing hole, or watching cooking shows on TV.

Survivors include, his wife of 56 years, Angie Vulgamore; his children, Steven Paul Vulgamore, and his wife, Dawn, of Slocomb, Ala., Scott Vulgamore, and his wife, Karen, of Climax, Sherri Reams, and her husband, Mike, of Monticello, Fla., and Donnie Vulgamore of Cincinnati, Ohio; his siblings, Ronald Vulgamore of Texas and Janet Roberts of Ohio;  his grandchildren, Tiffany, Tina, Paul, Andy, Alva Gail, Kristina, Angelica, Sarah, Hannah, Stacy, and Gage; his great-grandchildren; Jorja, Scott, Jaxen, Wyatt, Krista, Kohl, Amelia, Sabria, Samuel, Shae, Dakota, James, Cameron, Ashlynn, and William; and his furry companions, Jumper, Miss Kitty, and Cow Cat.
