Bearcat’s win against Northview fueled by shutout performance

Bainbridge pitcher Cayden Sconyers pitched a complete game shutout Wednesday against Northview to lead the Bearcats to a 9-0 win.

Bainbridge  secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning. Batters contributing to the big inning included Sconyers, Jaheim Jenkins and Michael Conder, all driving in runs in the frame.

In the first inning, Bainbridge got their offense started. Sam Boutwell was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Bainbridge notched five runs in the sixth inning. Sconyers, Jenkins and Conder powered the big inning with RBIs.

Sconyers took the win for Bainbridge. He allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

the Bearcats collected 10 hits. Conder, Colton Harrell, and Jenkins all managed multiple hits for Bainbridge.

Conder went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Bainbridge Bearcats Varsity in hits. The Bearcats didn’t commit a single error in the field. Will Beckham had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
