Bobby Dale Blevins was born October 16, 1951 in Hartsville, Ala., the son of William and Minnie Ward Blevins. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1969. He worked at Advance Auto Parts until his retirement and attended Christian Faith Church.

Bobby loved cars and drag racing so much many thought he may even have motor oil running through his veins. He turned his passion into a money maker and spent years helping others tinker on their own vehicles. Family and friends describe Bobby as a jokester who could find humor in most any situation.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Michelle Blevins; his children, Becky Posey and her husband, Tracy, of Vada, Tabitha Smith of Colquitt and Michael Boyett and his wife, Sandi, of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Ansley, Sheigh, Markus and Lana; his sister, June Sandlin and her husband, Ferris; his sister-in-law, Martha Blevins; and his in-laws, Jimmy & Bobbie Blalock.  In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Lee & Farris Granade and Marvin Blevins.
