Leonard “Waldo” Brock Sr.

Leonard “Waldo” Brock, Sr., age 65, of Macclenny, Florida passed away December 4, 2018, at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital in Macclenny. He was born March 13, 1953, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to the late Eldon Dennis Brock and Valera Wenoah Brock. Waldo graduated from Bainbridge High School and worked on his family farm early in life. He later started his own business, Brock Door Systems, Inc. He volunteered on the Code Enforcement Board of Baker County and was President of Baker County Ducks Unlimited Charters. Waldo enjoyed fresh water fishing, bird hunting, gardening and riding his tractor. His favorite time of the week was Wednesday when he hosted a weekly cookout where he grilled and entertained friends and family. Waldo loved people and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Waldo is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia “Dale” Brock; daughter, Terea Lee (Tim) Stokes; son, Leonard “Len” Waldo Brock, Jr.; grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Ryan Stokes, Emma Stokes and Luke Stokes; siblings, Michael Lenoy (Pam) Brock, Eldon Dennis (Barbara) Brock, Jr., Trildice Dorene (Phil) White, Wallace Keith (Frances) Brock. Gregory Eugene (Tammy) Brock; many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.

To honor Waldo’s life a Wednesday night gathering will be held on December 12, 2018 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Ferreira Funeral Services.
