Sarah L. White

Ms. Sarah L. White, 92, of Recovery, Georgia and lifelong resident of the area passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.  Sarah was a member of Recovery United Methodist Church where she was very active in church organizations.  She was a member of the choir there and a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years.  Sarah loved her church, community and spending time outdoors in the yard tending to her flowers.  She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends she made throughout the years.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband James White.

Sarah is survived by two daughters, Patsy King of Grand Ridge, Fla. and Sandra Wells of Recovery, Ga.; four grandchildren, Chad King, Angela Storsteen, Tracy Nixon, and Clay Wells as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Recovery United Methodist Church on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 11 a.m. EST, with Rev. Charlie Boyd officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to funeral services at Recovery United Methodist Church.  Interment followed in Sylvania Cemetery with McAlpin Funeral Home of Sneads, Florida directing.
