Mary Virginia Lawson Johnson of Lyons, Georgia passed away on January 20, 2018. She was born in Climax on April 1, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Riley Lawson and Mary Chester Lawson. Virginia graduated Valedictorian of the 1946 Climax High School class. Visitation was held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, January 22, at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Home in Lyons, Georgia. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lyons, Georgia with burial in the Lyons City Cemetery.
