Larry Jack Wilson was born January 21, 1950, in Athens, Tenn., the son of William Jack Wilson and Mary Helen Lamen Wilson. He attended Attapulgus Baptist Church and retired from Georgia Department of Public Safety.
Larry was a history buff. He could tell you most anything about World War II and loved antique guns. Muscle cars gave him a thrill; he could spot one a mile away. Kylie Ann, his granddaughter, was the absolute joy of his heart.
Survivors include his children, Larry Kyle Wilson and Anna Long of Bainbridge, Ga. and Hollie Melissa Wilson of Tallahassee, Fla.; his siblings, David Park Wilson of Havana, Fla., Robert Glenn Wilson of Macon, Ga., James Clyde Wilson of Cleveland, Ga. and Deborah Wilson Darsey of Calvary, Ga.; and his granddaughter, Kylie Ann Moody. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
