Mr. Kenneth Lamar Roland, 64, of Colquitt, Ga., died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Miller County Emergency Room. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating.  Interment will follow at New Salem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.  Felix Grimsley, Arnold Whitaker, Jordan Owen, Ricky Long, Larry Roland, and Stevie Donley will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017, from 1-2 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mr. Roland was a member of New Salem Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a color formulator with Amoco Fabrics.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Roland of Colquitt.; one son, Chris (Mandy) Roland of Colquitt; two daughters, Madison Roland of Colquitt, and Brandi Roland of Okla.; two grandsons, Dutch Pace and Gunner Roland; his father, J. E. Roland of Bainbridge, Ga.; and one sister, Melanie Roland (Jerrold) Owen of Morristown, Tenn. Mr. Roland was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Michael Roland; his mother, Vevelon Roland; and one brother, Joseph Roland.
