William Kenneth Long, passed away on July 21, 2017. He was 77. Mr. Long passed away at his home in Whigham, Georgia with his family at his side. Memorial Service was held at Union Springs Baptist Church on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 11:00 am., Pastor James Knight, officiated.
Mr. Long loved living in Whigham with his partner Janice Gilmore. He loved buying and selling used cars and he owned and operated K&L Savage Company. He is survived by four daughters: Peggy L. Trim (Ricky) of Calvary, Liz Long of Donaldsonville, Tammy Trim (Mike) of Donaldsonville, and Lisa Sellers (Jim) of Whigham and a step daughter Paula Macon of Thomasville,one son James E. Long (Arizona) , five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren,4 brothers and 7 sisters: Truett Long (deceased) (Linda) of Whigham, Charles Long (Tina) of Colquitt, Wendell Long (Nita) of Newton, Martha Blackburn (Lynwood) of Lake Talquin, Diane Salter (Weyman) of Albany, Kay Spriggs (Bobby) of Dothan, Karen Davis (Jack) of Eufaula, Donna Long of Bainbridge, Deborah Long of Newton, and Marilyn Kempton (Gene) of Newton. He had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flower a memorial contribution can be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia.
Reflection Cremation & Funeral Service of Tifton assisted the family with arrangements.
