Mrs. Tommie Carlene Brock Andreu, age 81, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, in Ocala, Florida. Services for Carlene will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church; preceded by fellowship at 12 p.m. and visitation at 1 p.m. The Rev. Marty Brock will officiate. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.

Tommie Carlene Brock was born April 6, 1936, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Carl Brock and Winnie L. (Rena) Oliver Brock. After graduation from high school, she went to business school in Thomasville, Georgia. A job opportunity led her to Jacksonville, Florida to work, where she met and married Joe Andreu. Carlene was employed with Snap-On Tools, Corp. her entire working career, retiring in 1993. Fishing was one of her favorite pasttimes; anytime, anywhere, with anybody! However, Carlene’s passion was her family. Coming from a large, loving family, this passion came naturally. Every opportunity she had to spend time at home, or elsewhere, with family was a pleasure she rarely missed. She treasured her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They brought light and love into her life daily, and she gave herself to them without reservation. Carlene will be greatly missed by the family and friends she loved so very much.

Carlene is survived by her daughter, Cindy Brandt and husband, Charlie of Ocala, Florida; son, Brock Andreu of Ocala; grandchildren, Michael Moore and wife, Trista, and Christi Bagley and husband, Chris, all of Ocala; great-grandchildren, Christopher Bagley, Mia Moore, and Melanie Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, all of her siblings, and granddaughter, Michelle Moore.
