Bainbridge track and field compete in opening meet

The Bainbridge High School track and field teams opened their seasons last weekend in Tallahassee at the Jessie Forbes Invitational, with the Bearcats grabbing second place and the Lady Cats claiming third.

Participants that earned points or medals for the Bearcats and Lady Cats at the meet were Amaia Taylor, Tyesha Binyard, Brenna Frazier, Makayla Cooper, Tyaisha Gant, Cyan Gant Mabry-Grace Briggs, Camry Fillingame, Tykeia Campbell, Mikayla Battle, Tyra Jackson, Nadia Marshall, Kiara Martin, Destiny Turner, Iesha Smart,  Latisha Venisee-Cosby, Jordon McMullien, Jaylin Scott,JaMarvin Bouie, Lance Cosby,  Zyron McGee, Vonderion Campbell, Andre Jackson, La’Derrick Murphy,  Rashad Odom, Tremayne Campbell, Joshua Emanuel, Radese Williams, Aaron, Lewis, Iran Brown, Martavious Flowers, Chris Rainey and Roman Harrison.

Both teams will compete this weekend here at the Bainbridge High School Track. Nineteen girls’ teams and 19 boys’ team have registered to compete in the Larry Clark Invitational.
