Berta Inez Addison was born December 29, 1932, in Colquitt, Ga., the daughter of William Addison and Ethel Hare Addison. She was a graduate of Miller County High School and was of the holiness faith. Inez married Walter Western Mock in 1949, and lived most of her life in southwest Georgia.

Inez was quite the storyteller and she had many stories to tell as the mother of nine children. She enjoyed a good laugh with her family and friends. Inez was known to be a hard worker but never failed to interject a joke or two. Her favorite time of the year was the holidays. She would spend her time cooking for her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Walter Mock and his wife, Brenda, of Bonifay, Fla., Shirley Thomas of Cairo, Ga., Elaine Sheffield of Lakeland, Fla., Debbie Mock of Blakely, Ga., Mike Mock and his wife, Becky, of Thomasville, Ga., David Mock and his wife, Stephanie, of Coolidge, Ga., and Theresa Mock of Ochlocknee, Ga.; her siblings, Paul Addison, Eula Addison, Dale Addison, Eurie Addison, and Geneva Dollar; her twenty-nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Inez was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Walt Mock, and her children, James William Mock and Lawanna Diane Mock.
