B.A. Jones, Jr.

Mr. Benjamin Arthur Jones, Jr., 73, of Colquitt died Saturday, October 17, 2015, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 4 p.m. at Colquitt City Cemetery with Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Burnell Grant, Michael Davis, Aaron Emerson, Branham Culpepper, James Jones, and Dylon Jones will serve as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 3-4 p.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was a retired farmer and served in the US Army. He was also a former Miller County Commissioner.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Bedsole Jones of Colquitt; two sons, Benji (Becky) Jones of Colquitt, and Jason (Diane) Jones of Huntersville, NC; three daughters, Beverly Jones Human of Knoxville, Tenn., Donna (Bryant) Culpepper of Fort Valley, Ga., and Mollie (Bill) Gaby of Davidson, NC; two step daughters, Elizabeth (Terry) Emerson of Madrid, Ala., and Natasha (Lee) Tibbals of Sevierville, Tenn.; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Earnestine Jones Heard of Colquitt.
