Riley Williamson Jr., 66, of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Select Speciality Hospital in Tallahassee, Fla.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.O. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Jeff Enfinger, Ryan Weathersby, Eugene McConnell, Darrell West, Wilbur Brown, and Charles Brown serving as active pallbearers.

Mr. Williamson was born December 7, 1948 in Calvary, Ga., the son of Riley Williamson, Sr. and Willie Bea Hand Williamson. He married Annette McConnell on October 15, 1966. Mr. Williamson served in the United States Army and was a mechanic by trade. He owned and operated Williamson Automotive in Bainbridge and loved his work. He enjoyed fishing, golf and working with wood on his days off. The joy of his heart could be found in the faces of his grandchildren. He was of Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include his wife, Annette M. Williamson of Bainbridge; his children, Tim Williamson, and his wife, Melissa, Nickie Wells and her fiance, Tyrone Close, Mandy Weathersby and Adrian Williamson and his wife, Jessica, all of Bainbridge; his siblings, Von Williamson of Donalsonville and Darrell Williamson and his wife, Betty, of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Colby Weathersby, Kaitlyn Weathersby, Zoe Wells, and Sydney Williamson.

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Lisa Williamson, and his siblings, Cleo Braswell, Joyce Williamson, and Cecil Williamson.
