First they defeated the Lee County All Stars 24-4, then they defeated the Crisp County All Stars 28-1, and then they defeated the Moultrie-Colquitt County Gold All Stars 14-4 to nail down second place.

Bainbridge All Starhead coach Brooks Wade said he could not be prouder of his teams District 3 Tournament performance.

“The girls showed a great deal of determination and resilience throughout the tournament,” he said. “They found themselves down 9-0 to Crisp County in the top of the first inning, but the offense ex plodded in the bottom of the first inning and put 23 runs on the board on the way to the victory. They dropped the hard fought championship game 11-7 to the Moultrie-Black All Star team.”
