Funeral services for Yvonne Gail Rathel, 59, of Cairo, are at 11 a.m., Friday, May 22, 2015, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, Ga.  Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Services will conclude at the Chapel. Private interment will be in Ochlocknee City Cemetery, Ochlocknee, GA.  Mrs. Rathel passed away at Bay Medical Center, Panama City, Fla., on Saturday, May 16, 2015.

Mrs. Rathel was born on May 24, 1955, in Bainbridge, to the late Benjamin Zachariah Roberts and Mary Ethel Singletary Roberts. She was married to Samuel Rathel, who preceded her in death in 1981.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: daughter, Gina Harrison (Shawn) of Cairo; son, Charlie Rathel (Holly) of Perry, Ga.; grandchildren, Miranda Lyons (Luke) of Brinson, Nick Rathel of Cairo, Allison Rathel of Cairo, Christopher Rathel of Perry; great-grandchild, Zachary Lyons of Brinson; brothers, Dale Roberts, Ben Roberts, James Roberts, all of Cairo, Michael Roberts of Whigham; sisters, Louise Landrum of Thomasville,  Susie Stinnett of Donalsonville, Gloria Stinnett (Jimmy) of Donalsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
