John Drew Miller

John Drew (J.D.) Miller, age 76, of Iron City, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 10, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller were held on Thursday afternoon, March 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, with Rev. Jimmy Hornsby officiating. A private family interment will follow in New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Miller was born June 13, 1938 in Seminole County, Ga. to William Harvey Miller and Mildred Eley Miller. He was of the Baptist faith and was engaged in farming with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, W.H. Miller, Jr. and his wife Patricia and L.J. Miller and his wife Barbara all of Iron City; a nephew, Donnie Ray Miller and his wife Cecelia of Bainbridge; three nieces, Donna Miller Alday and her husband Tommy of Donalsonville, Susan Miller Chambliss and her husband Frankie of Blakely, Ga., and Debra Miller Pack and her husband Phillip of Panama City, Fla.; a great-nephew, William Malory Miller and his wife Laura of Brinson, Ga.; and three great-nieces, Mandy Alday Barber and her husband Russell of Brinson, Ashlyn Pack and Addison Pack of Panama City.
He is also survived by five great-great nephews, Will and Jeb Miller of Brinson, and Kase, Kody, and Kolt Barber of Brinson; as well as a great-great niece, Karmyn Alday of Bainbridge.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey Miller and Mildred Eley Miller and a great nephew, Zack Alday.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
