Miss Beard and Mr. Barber to wed in March

Miss Shenesi Beard of Bainbridge, and Mr. Darren Barber of Blakely, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Miss Beard, the daughter of Mr. Kenneth McCoy and Mrs. Janice Tootle, both of Bainbridge, is the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Ella Mae Beard.

She is a senior at Troy State University.

Mr. Barber is the son of Mr. Dale McCoy and Mrs. Deborah Ann Barber, and the grandson of the late Mr. Charlie Will Barber and Mrs. Margret Scott Ferguson, and the late Mr. Costel McCoy Jr. and Mrs. Willie Jewel McCoy.

He is a graduate of Early County High School.

The wedding is planned for March 21 at 3 p.m. in Headland, Alabama.
