Robert Clyde Singleton, 73, of Camilla, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at
his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 26 at Mt. Pleasant
Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.  Rev. Conrad Salter and Rev. Andy Hall will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Jamie Singleton, Tracy Singleton, Kent Wisham,
Tyler Singleton, Kyle Singleton, and Cody Singleton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Baggs, Trevor Pollock, Larry Posey,
Tracy Posey, Holden Nall, Quen Rackley, Leaston Boutwell, Steve Caulder, and Steve Brock.
Born May 1, 1941 in, Decatur County, Mr. Singleton was the son of the
late John A. and Luna Taylor Singleton.  He was a Mechanical Engineer at
Shaw Industries until his retirement as well as a farmer.  Mr. Singleton was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Vada.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Singleton and Carroll Singleton; stepmother, Flora Belle Singleton; and step-sister, Patsy Elrod.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Singleton of Camilla; two sons, Danny
Singleton & wife Donna of Camilla and Chris Singleton and wife Robin of
Pelham; two brothers, Steve Singleton & wife Cheryl of Camilla and Tony
Singleton and wife Kitty of Camilla; sister, Margaret Dodson of Cairo;
grandchildren, Kyle, Taylor, Tyler, Chelsea, and Halie Singleton, two
stepsisters, Faye Bracken of Tallahassee and Diane Wade & husband Bobby of Camilla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Sunday, January 25 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery fund, 5008 Vada Road, Climax, Ga 39834.
