 Mrs. Corene Margaret Brown, 81, of Colquitt died Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Early Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 19, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Cook’s Union United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Cook’s Cemetery with Dole Cook, Jr., Rex Cook, Hamilton Cook, Taylor Cook, Rodney Phillips, and John Williams, Jr. serving as pall bearers. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2-3 p.m. at Cook’s Union United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Corene was a member of Cook’s Union United Methodist Church and was a retired office manager with the Merritt Clinic.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Brown of Colquitt; three sons, Rodney (Dottie) Brown of Donalsonville, Jeff (Melanie) Brown of Blakely, and Scott (Misty) Brown of Bainbridge; four grandchildren, Will Brown, Cory Brown, Abby Brown, and Maggy Brown; and one sister, Betty Bush of Austin, Texas.
