Vera Hartley Irvin, 92, of Albany, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16,
2014 at Bainbridge Health Care.

The graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday,
Sept. 18, 2014 at Travelers Rest Cemetery near Newton, GA with Rev.
Charles Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Irvin was born April 13, 1922 in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of Henry
Hutchins and Eva Nell Keel Hutchins. She was a manager of Hubbles Restaurant
in Albany, GA, for many years. She enjoyed spending time in her garden,
cooking and loved her family. Mrs. Irvin was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Olivent of Bainbridge, GA; her
grandchildren, Vera Olivent, Donna Spooner and her husband, Shelton, and
Judy Temples and her husband, Billy; her great-grandchildren, Michelle,
Heather, Christy, and Hannah; a special nephew, Claude Newsome and his wife,
Sylvia; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Harmon Irvin; her sister, Maude Newsome; and her son- in-law
Bill Olivent.
