Nadine Hall, 91, of Bainbridge, and formerly of Prattville, Ala., passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home.

The graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Crown Hill Cemetery at 1907 Dawson Road, Albany, Ga. with Rev. William “Buck” Jones of Wetumpka, Ala. and Father Lee Lowery, Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Albany officiating.

The family received friends at Merry Acres Restaurant Banquet Facility located at 1500 Dawson Rd, Albany following the graveside service.

Nadine was born Dec. 3, 1922 in Tallapoosa County, Ala., the daughter of Solon Grady Trammell and Frances Erin Downing Trammell. She attended the Comer Free School in Springhill, Ala. and graduated Salutatorian from Midway, Alabama High School. She was a 1943 graduate of the University of Alabama and was a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the national sociological honorary society.

Nadine was a social worker in Geneva County, Ala., and Albany, Georgia, and taught  school in Richland, Ga., Miami, Fla. and Albany High School. She worked as a truant officer with the Muskogee County, Georgia School System, and was more recently a real estate broker licensed in the State of Alabama. She was a member of St John’s Episcopal Church in Bainbridge, and the former state president of the Georgia Gideons Women’s Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children, William Paul Fryer of Bainbridge and John Edenfield Fryer of Prattville; her stepson, Donald Henry Fryer of Yalaha, Fla.; her grandchildren, Ruth Fryer Kelly (Henry Lee Kelly) of Roswell, Ga., William Martin Fryer of Atlanta, Ga., Sara Kaitlin Fryer of Prattville, and Melissa Hope Fryer of Prattville; her great-granddaughter, Amelia Leeana Kelly of Roswell; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, William Henry Fryer who died in 1965 in Albany. In 1975, she was married to Jeff Davis Hall of Midway, Ala., who passed away in 1993. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jerome Trammell, Helen T. Lee, Appling Trammell, Seymore Trammell, Virginia T. McGlivray, and Jessie T. Grier.
