Gregg Soper, 57, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 Ivey Funeral Home with Pastor Dewitt Phillips officiating.

Gregg was born Dec. 25, 1956 in Virginia. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War while serving in the U. S. Marines. He was an auto mechanic for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company a member of Bainbridge Bikefest, and was a volunteer for the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.

Memorial donations may be made to Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, 1250 Cox Ave., Bainbridge, GA 39819.

Survivors include his sons, Brian Soper and his wife, Sarah, of Columbia, Mo. and Kevin Stanford-Soper and his wife, Cindy, of Lathrop, Mo.; his daughter, Ashlynn Soper of Bainbridge; his siblings, John, Phil, Don, Terri, Judy, and Patricia; his mother, Lenora Staab of Lemoyne, Pa.; his grandchildren, Brooke Mullen-Soper, Casondra Stanford-Soper, Taylor Stanford-Soper, and Tyler Stanford-Soper; and his great-granddaughter, Lilly Hill.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Brandy Ritter Soper and Elizabeth Shealy Soper; and his father, Raymond Edward Soper.

Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
