Krista Cox and Paul Hinchey to wed in Thomasville ceremony

Krista Cox of Bainbridge and Paul Hinchey of Savannah are planning a wedding ceremony March 1 at 4:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Thomasville. The reception will follow at Pebble Hill Plantation. Invitations will be sent.

Dr. and Mrs. James M. Cox Jr. of Climax announce the engagement of their daughter Krista Anne to Paul Myers Hinchey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hinchey of Savannah, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melton Perkins of Whigham, and of Mrs. Jane Cox and the late James M. Cox Sr. of Whigham.
Krista graduated with honors from Bainbridge High School in 2001. She graduated from Valdosta State University with honors in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011 from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where she also completed a residency in pediatric dentistry in 2013. She is now working as a pediatric dentist in Nashville, Tenn.
The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mrs. Martha Littlefield Summerell and the late Mr. William Finn Summerell of Savannah.
Paul was an honor graduate in 2002 from Benedictine Military School in Savannah. He attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., and graduated with honors from there with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006. He then graduated with honors from the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta with a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011. He began an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, from which he will receive an M.D. degree in 2014.
