Caitlyn Dunlap, senior right-handed pitcher and first baseman with the Bainbridge High School Lady Cats softball team, signed a softball scholarship Tuesday with Cuthbert’s Andrew College Lady Fighting Tigers.
Looking on as she signed in the school gymnasium hospitality room were her parents Shanna and Keith Dunlap, her brother Spencer Dunlap, Lady Cats head coach Amy Thomas, Lady Cats assistant coach Dennis Cato and Toncyne Brown, her travel ball coach with the G3 Divas.
Coach Thomas praised Dunlap for the hard work and dedication she showed this season.   Coach Cato said he is happy Dunlap will be able to continue her softball career in college
“Caitlyn has been playing in youth and school softball programs for many years, and she has always done a good job,” coach Thomas said. “I am happy she will be able to continue playing at the college level and I am sure she will represent us well.”
Dunlap’s travel ball coach Brown said she played well for him and he is looking forward to following her college softball career.
