Marcia A. St. Marie, 87, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, at Memorial Hospital.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Mosley officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the service at Ivey Funeral Home.

Mrs. St. Marie was born Jan. 31, 1926 in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of Stephen Kovaskitz and Louise Ann Krier Kovaskitz. She was a graduate of Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Sandusky, Ohio and served as a nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her son Patrick Carroll St.Marie; and her brother, John Charles Kovaskitz of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Eugene Ward St. Marie of Bainbridge; her son, Dr. Michael St. Marie and his wife, Janet, of Albany, Ga.; her daughter, Nanette St. Marie McIntosh, and her husband, Robert, of Bainbridge; her siblings, Paul Stephen Kovaskitz and his wife, Rita, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Rosemary Geiger of Chehalis, Wash.; her 10 grandchildren; and her four great-grandchildren.
